I made three sets of fastening hooks and handles for the cabinet. The hooks were milled out of 1/4" thick brass stock. The handles and the threaded inserts were turned out of 1/2" diameter brass stock. The inserts are turned down to 1/4" OD and tapped for an 8-32 screw. The handles are rounded off on the out side end and turned down to 1/4' diamter on the "latching" end. The threaded inserts and the handles are press fit into 15/64 holes drilled into the cabinet.
