This is a design for a Farm House-styled table.
The table is 5 feet long and 3 1/2 feet wide.
The top is Hickory and the base is Poplar.

Here are the five 8 foot Hickory boards that will become the top.
The roughed out parquet pattern.
The legs are 4" square and are glued up from Poplar laminations.
The main glue-up for the top is done.
Now it needs to be planed and sanded. Then trimmed to length. After that I'll mill the ends to recieve the breadboard caps-which will also need to have mortises milled in them.
Each board is aprox 8" wide. The boards have a groove milled in them to receive a long spline. This adds strength and glue surface to the joint.
